Good Friday at our flat

We where able to have the Good Friday service for our house group at our flat. Was a great time of fellowship and very good food. Everyone had a chance to share a verse that spoke to them out of a list of verses that was given about the cross the previous Sunday. This was a very special time of worship!

Making of the Easter eggs

Lydia had a great idea this Easter to decorate a bunch of eggs using holi dye. Holi is a celebration of spring where everyone gets this dye and then they throw it on each other, often times mixed with water in squirt gun. We used this dye for the eggs and they turned out very nice. We made about 200 and passed them out to people in our community and the house group. Lydia blew the eggs out and when we passed them out we shared that the egg was empty just like the tomb and so in this manner the message of Easter was proclaimed.

Very busy week

Hello everyone!

It has been a while since we have posted and alot has happened. Hopefully most of you received vol 2 of our newsletter, if not just email me, so I will just pick up with this week. We have started a new language class and we are hopeful that this will give a jump start to being able to speak more and communicate with those around us. Just this past week I have been able to understand some conversations when we go out and even understand some of the news on tv. Continue to lift us up as we learn the language
